This is our metaldetecting page. We are three guys doing some metaldetecting. Michel and Daniel live in the Netherlands and John is from England. In our personal pages (see menu on rightside) you can see what detectors we are currently using. We hope to be adding a lot of finds to this page, and make it as extensive as we can.
Michel and John are using the the Discovery Millenium Baron Cointrax as their detector of choice. Daniel is using the newer Garrett ACE 150.
As you can see the countryside in Holland and England is rather different. On the left picture you can see the famous windmills in the Netherlands (Kinder-Dyk) and on the right the famous Hadrian’s wall in England. So expect a lot of different finds from both countries. Being so close to an area where a lot of Roman ruins and sites can be found, John has a higher chance of finding Roman coins and artefacts. Here in the Netherlands we do find some Roman artefacts and coins, but mostly it will be items and coins dating from the 1600-1900’s.
